Excuse me my English... I am Danish:If you Grand Prix Legends (GPL) and ACT-LABS RS Shifter don't work with Tom Grandgent's Shift-It util (to many frustrate lost shift?, as in my case!), then you should test my home-made project: RS Shifter Support v0.12 Alpha for GPL v1.201
its run complete difference ,so no lost Sync/Gear here (I hope) Downloads from here:

Please give me some response about GPLshift: Good, Bad, ugly?  GPLshift vs. Shift-It I have only tried Tom grandgent´s Shift-It v0.4, - until now, but after install. v0.5, I
must say its works now with 20 80 500 on my pc (Thanks Rich English,
http//come.to/rs-shifter, for settings) ,I will use it online (WinVROC) But offline I
prefer my util because GPL here follows RS Shifter movement, precisely, you don't
have to wait for (example) gear shift from 5 to 1 = 4. 3. 2. 1. My GPLshift goes
direct to 1, be careful about that, the wheel can lock, like in the real car. *JSJ*

JSJ, I don't have GPL so I can't try your program but I think it's very cool that you are able to bypass the shift sequence and animations. Did you find the memory location(s) where GPL stores the current gear and make your program set that memory directly in order to shift?-Tom IP: Logged | |
