TrackIR support (v1.0.1.0) for RailWorks2 v117.3a has been releast

KUJU/RailSimulator.com (RSC) has updated RailWorks2 to v117.3a and the TIR support does not work any more because of the moved codes in GameManager.dll, but I am working hard with a fix, back later...

The TrackIR Support for KUJU/RailSimulator.com's RailWorks 2 Update 2011 Feb. 15 has been Released:

* Automatic Detecting and Support for NaturalPoint's TrackIR Unit 4 & 5 in RW2's Cab, HeadOut & Passenger View

* Double click right mouse button to reset the TrackIR to Front of View (same as via TrackIR software default Key F12)

* Double click middle mouse button for shift between 3D/2D (e.g Zoom closer to the Signal)

Known Issues:

1.
Out of Sync. when shifting from Cabview to Headout and vise verse

Solution: Try to look straight forward and then press Key12 (default) or double click on right mouse Button

2.
Maybe problem with the double click on middle & right mouse buttons, Try again

3. ??? ,let me known at my RW2 Forum

WARNING:

Be aware this MOD is a homemade work, and I am NOT a profession programmer, have make it for own pleasure, (but hope you also can use it, of course)

Have only been tested with on very few computers with TrackIR 5th. Generations Hardware & Softwarev (5.0 or later requsted)

And I am sure you can find some bugs in this MOD (will try to fix them later)

I do NOT take any responsibility for lost Computer, data etc.

DOWNLOAD:

Download TrackIR Support for RailWorks 2 (Install_TIR4RW2_v1010.exe)

It's very Important you read the TIR4RW2_ReadMe.txt file before starting RW2 first time with TrackIR support!

INSTALLING:

Just run Install_TIR4RW2_v1010.exe and following the Installer programs guide there should point to ?:\Steam\steamapps\commont\RailWorks\ dir. where the files TIR4RW2.DLL, TIR4RW2.INI, TIR4RW2_ReadMe.txt, TIR4RW2.exe (TIR4RW2 Patch & Configuration Prg.) will be stored

The Patch & Configuration Prg. (dialogbox) will start automatically in the End of the installing (Exit) where you are free to change the setup and save, it's up to you to start RailWorks2 TrainSim.

It's very Important you read the TIR4RW2_ReadMe.txt file before starting RW2 first time with TrackIR support!

Remember to install NaturaPoint's TrackIR software version 5.0 or later! (TrackIR 3rd. hardware gen. req. v5.1)
UnINSTALLING:

None Uninstall part, Just don't run the TIR4RW2.EXE (none Railworks files has been Patched under earlier installation)
ReINSTALLING:

Run Install_TIR4RW2_v1010.exe again, Warning: your present TIR4RW2.INI configuration will be overwrited with default setup

See my TrackIR demo with RW2 (2010 version) tested on VISTA 32bit machine with Intel Core Quad CPU @ 2,4GHz GeForce 9500 GS (sorry for the poor picture & sound quality recording)

If you want to see more KURU's Train Sim. with TrackIR videos then look at the KRS support, see below there, special the last 3 with some text info. TrackIR KRS support works same ways as with RW2
